Era Dabla-Norris discusses growth and productivity developments in emerging market and developing countries including details about BRICS, and looks at their convergence prospects and reforms needed to sustain convergence.

Era Dabla-Norris is a Deputy Chief in the Strategy, Policy, and Review Department of the International Monetary Fund where she works on emerging global issues, to ensure that the Fund’s strategic priorities evolve in line with the needs of the membership. Her research interest and publications span a wide range of topics such as productivity and growth in emerging markets and advanced economies, banking and financial deepening, public investment and growth, and inequality.
