The Congress will feature research presentations by leading economists from across the globe. More than 500 economists from all over the world are expected to attend and over 400 papers will be presented in stand-alone and parallel academic sessions.

There will also be a number of policy sessions and keynote lectures, with participants from governments and the corporate world. Submissions for papers and proposals opened on 1 November 2022. The main theme of the Congress will be “World Economy at a Turning Point? Conflict, Fragmentation, and Divergence.”

The 2023 IEA World Congress will be a unique academic event which will host the latest and most engaging research in Any Field in economics in the many contributed sessions. The Congress will provide an excellent forum to present one’s own research results. This is why each of you are warmly encouraged to submit a paper for the congress.
