Global Value-Chain Training and Research Workshop

Global Value-Chain Training and Research Workshop on August 2 – August 10, 2024, UIBE, Beijing. Distinguish Scholar Lectures on Global Value Chains are in honor of the 10-year Anniversary of UIBE GVC Training and Research Workshop.

The workshop invites 5 distinguished scholars as keynote speakers in the field of global production network, economic geography and spatial economics, supply chain resilience and other related topics. It also organised a mini-international conference in connection with the workshop as a celebration. The themes of the mini conference will focus on “the great reallocation” of GVC activities caused by geopolitics and the pandemic in recent years. The topic covers Asia, North American, Europe and other third country perspective respectively.

Warwick McKibbin, Distinguished Professor and Director, ANU Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) in the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University will present:
