2018 Melbourne Institute Macroeconomic Policy Meeting

The Melbourne Institute Macroeconomic Policy Meetings aim to foster discussion on relevant issues in macroeconomic policy by involving leading scholars conducting research with state-of-the-art theoretical and/or empirical tools.

The 2018 edition of the Meetings will focus on “Macroeconomic Policies in the New Normal”. The Meeting will feature presentations of scientific papers as well as a panel discussion involving academics and economists working in policy institutions.

Valerie A. Ramey (University of California, San Diego) and Simon Gilchrist (New York University) have already confirmed their participation.

Paper submission procedure. Papers should be submitted no later than April 1, 2018 via the link: http://melbourneinstitute.unimelb.edu.au/events-folder/conferences/2018-.... Authors of accepted papers will be notified by May 15, 2018.

Expenses. There is no participation fee. It is expected that participants will cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
